Pepper spray would be the logical solution. It wouldn't kill anyone and people wouldn't be afraid to use it.
I was not surprised to hear the issue of 'take guns away from everyone' on this station. The usual fare.
Before guns were villified by the left, it was commonplace to have guns in school; rifle & pistol teams, kids going to their rural friend;s home to hunt over the weekedn could bring them on the bus, cased, stored in the principal's office during the day and home with the child on the bus to the friend's home.
Liberals started to paint as 'evil' those who owned guns. Elmer Fudd became the standard by which anti-gunners referred to gun owners. Liberals produced movies wherein any household owning a gun produced a causalty of the wife or children- 100% of the time.
Soon the left won, and to be involved with guns is to be a criminal. Is it any wonder people who 'act up' now use a gun?
It took the left 40-50 years to get us to this point, and unless they change their attitudes, these shootings will continue.
How? Bring back support of lawful shooting sports; trap, skeet, sporting clays, markmanship competitions. None of which involve shooting animals! It takes the evil and mystique out of guns. Or is that how the left wants it to be? It certainly seems so.
