Thank you for having the U.S. Senate candidates on your show today. I'd like to tune in today to hear Sen. Kohl, but I'm not holding my breath that he'll show up.
I was especially impressed with Rae Vogeler, the Green Party candidate for U.S. Senate. I am so tired of voting for pro-war, centrist, corporate democrats. I've sucked it up and voted Dem the last few elections to avoid getting a Republican in.
I'm so glad to hear that is not an issue in this campaign, and I'm free to vote for the best candidate. Since, outside of TV commercials, Herb Kohl isn't even actually running - Rae Vogeler has earned my vote.
I urge progressives, conservatives, liberals, and people of all political colors to check her out - its time we had a Senator that will actually meet with the voters and listen to our concerns. Go Rae!
Dear Blackearth and WPR Fans, I actually consider myself a true Progressive, even Russ Feingold stated that I was a progressive as was my father when I debated him at the Northside Milwaukee debate in 2002, I agree with you about Nobody's Senator Herb Kohl, he has not accepted any challenges to debate, "ill debate him everyday if he would agree, at least once a week during these last 6 weeks would be beneficial for the people of Wisconsin. The same day that I did the Tuesday Ben Mehrens show IN PERSON IN MILWAUKKE, I also did the Coalition for Wisconsin Aging Groups 8th District Candidate forum in Green Bay at the Radisson Hotel at 9:45 am, as I do everyday, I campaign all over the state, answer all email questions and telephone calls personally and will do so as your United States Senator, because I will be working and fighting hard for Wisconsin's Hard Families.
